Full time consultant at the Whitfield Clinic. Graduated from Queens University, Belfast. Trained in the specialty of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery between the years 1997/2005. Doctorate (MD) from Queens University, Belfast. Following initial appointment as Consultants in the Southern Health Trust in Northern Ireland, was promoted to Clinical Director of the Trauma and Orthopaedic department, a post he held until his move to the Whitfield Clinic in September 2008. Worked as a member of an international teaching faculty training surgeons in the technique of hip resurfacing (2004-2007), recently worked as a member of a UK faculty for the teaching of surgeons- "keyhole" surgery of the hip.
Total Hip Replacement, Hip Resurfacing, Hip Arthroscopy. Knee: Cartilage/meniscal tear, anterior cruciate rupture, ligament, tendon and muscle injuries. Hip and Groin: Labral tears, hip impingement, Gilmores groin (sports hernia) adductor muscle injuries, acute and chronic groin pain.
