Ms. Helen Hegarty
Ms. Hegarty is a graduate of Flinders University of South Australia. Her training in surgery and urology included posts in the Royal Marsden, the National Neurological Hospital and the Institute of Urology and a 2 year fellowship in pelvic reconstruction at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas. Helen returned to a Consultants post in Southend NHS and set up the minimally invasive pelvic oncology and multidisciplinary pelvic floor dysfunction clinics. Super-specialised in female urology (including diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence, urinary tract infection and chronic pelvic pain syndrome), neurourology, pelvic oncology and reconstruction.
